Scott is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where he received a Masters in Physical Therapy. His clinical expertise is in the treatment of orthopedic patients, particularly sports medicine and work-related injuries.
He is a manual therapist and is Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy by the American Physical Therapy Association. Scott began his professional career in 1994 and has been certified in the ASTYM system since 2001. He has been part of the teaching team for Performance Dynamics since 2005 and has taught numerous physical therapists on how to perform ASTYM. He has lectured on workers’ compensation management nationally and locally for the last 12 years, as well as for Southeastern School of Nursing, and has co-authored a clinical guidelines book for nursing students. He most recently has undergone training in dry-needling, a new innovative approach to assist in treatment of soft tissue and pain management.
